1. What kind of information does Custom.MT collect?

Custom.MT is the data controller in relation to your personal data and may also act as a data processor for our customers in some cases. 

Custom.MT collects those personal data directly provided when using our Services and through our Website. The personal data may, amongst other things, include:

- Your name;

- Your contact information (email address, your street address and country of residence);

- Other personal information;

- Non personal and aggregate information.

 

2. How does Custom.MT collect and use your personal data?

We will only process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Police and applicable law to which we are subject, including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the "GDPR").

We will only use your personally identifiable information as described in this section, unless you have specifically consented otherwise, either at the time the personal data is collected or through some other form of consent directly given from you:

  • When you sign up for newsletters and direct marketing, we collect personal data about you - as could be your contact information previously described- as well as non personal data including your search terms used and other user behavior, your network location and information about your date and time of your visit.
  • When you subscribe to the Training Console, we collect personal data about you, including your contact. The purpose of our processing is to perform the service(s) you have requested. We may share your personally identifiable information with third parties to further the purpose for which you provided such information to us. 
  • When you access our Website or use our Services, we may automatically collect non-personally identifiable information from you, such as IP host address, web pages viewed, browser type, operating system, referring service, search information, device type, page views, usage and browsing habits and similar data. We may also aggregate demographic information (such as the number of users in a particular geographical location) in a manner which does not identify any one individual.   

 

3. How does Custom.MT store and to whom it may provide personal data?

Custom.MT complies with its obligations under the GDPR by saving information provided by Users in a database, keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data. 

We may use third parties for customer support, customer relationship management, email marketing (Active Campaign), business analytics and as hosting provider. We have entered into data processing agreements that comply with article 28 of the GDPR with all our data processors to ensure that such data processors implement appropriate organisational and technical security measures in such a way that the processing complies with the requirements of the GDPR and ensures the protection of your rights.

Custom.MT will not sell any kind of personal data. 

 

4.How does Custom.MT protect your personal data?

Custom.MT ensures that adequate technical and organizational measures are taken to secure your personal data against loss or any unlawful processing.

Access to the Training Console member area and all other online services that contain customer data (personal and non-personal data) is password protected. Custom.MT is using the user identification details (which contain email and passwords which Users provide when they subscribe) for authentication purposes only. 

 

5.How long is the personal data retained for?

Custom.MT will keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide you with Services and to conduct our legitimate business interest or where otherwise required by law.

Website data will be deleted as soon as such data are no longer required; and will also be deleted on the individual's request.

 

6.What are your data protection rights?

Custom.MT would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access - You have the right to request Custom.MT for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service after the first request for administrative costs.

The right to rectification - You have the right to request that Custom.MT correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure — You have the right to request that Custom.MT erase your personal data, under certain conditions ( In accordance to Article17 GDPR: “The personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;  The data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based; The data subject objects to processing pursuant to Article 21(1) and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing; The personal data have been unlawfully processed; The personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation in Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject”).

The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that Custom.MT restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions (In accordance to Article 18 GDPRM “The data subject contests the accuracy of the data; The data subject objects to unlawful processing and the data subject prefers you to restrict the processing rather than erasing their data; The data controller does not need the data for processing but they need to keep the data pursuant to the "establishment, exercise, or defence of a legal claim").

The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to Custom.MT s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions ( In accordance to Article 21 GDPR: “unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims”).

The right to data portability - You have the right to request that Custom.MT transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions ( In accordance to Article 20 GDPR: “when Processing is based on consent or a contract, and Processing is done with automated means”).
