Full Professor at Dublin City University and Deputy Director of the ADAPT Centre for Digital Content Technology. He has been selected as the winner of the Award of Honor from International Association for Machine Translation (IAMT). He was the Director of Machine Translation at Lingo24, as well as the President of the International Association for Machine Translation and the European Association for Machine Translation, and the Editor of the Machine Translation Journal. He has a long list of peer-reviewed conference and journal papers on a variety of topics related to machine translation.
